A web browser commonly known as browser is a software application installed on a pc to allow access to the internet . It displays the web pages from servers together with other files such as images,videos etc, interprets and shows them on the screen. All you do is input the URL (Universal Resource Locator) address of a webpage in the address bar and the browser will display the web page on your  pc screen. Layout of a Browser A browser’s basic function is to get files from a server and display them on the screen. It normally displays html files with images, PDF, videos etc in a structured layout. A browser is a collection of blocks or lines  code  that performs numerous tasks of showing a webpage on the  pc screen. Jet engines make aeroplanes move forward with an enormous force,produced by a huge thrust and allow the aircraft to fly very fast. All jet engines,also known as  gas turbine ,operate on the same principle. The engine draws in air from the front with a fan. A compressor increases the pressure of the air,which is made with numerous blades attached to a rotating shaft. The blades move round at high very speed,compress or squeeze the air. The compressed air is sprayed with fuel and an electric spark ignites the mixture. The burning gases expand and rush out through the nozzle,located behind the engine. As the blast of hot gases shoot backwards, the engine and the aircraft moves forward under high thrust. As the hot air is moves to the nozzle, it crosses through another group of blades known as turbine. The turbine is connected to the same shaft as the compressor. Sonar(sound navigation and ranging) is the use of an echo.If an animal or machine makes a noise, it sends out sound waves into the space surrounding it. The waves bounce back off objects in its path, and some are reflected back to the source of the sound. It's the reflected sound waves that you perceive when your voice echoes back to you in an empty room.  Whales and special machine use reflected waves to locate distant objects(Echo location) and detect their shape and movement.
